Sal started by working at a bakery in Montecito. There he met someone who supported his dreams and ideas and married her. The idea was simple. To make food that was pleasing to both the eyes and taste buds. Together Sal and his wife opened Sal's Pizza and Italian Eatery in August of 2004. Since then, Sal's Pizza has gained notoriety, being mentioned in the Santa Barbara Independent, and is well known throughout the east side of Santa Barbara. Sal has been serving classic Italian-American style comfort food since 2004 and he hopes to continue for as long as he can. Sal is a very present owner, he puts all his time and energy into his restaurant. He personally welcomes you to his restaurant.
